Ha ha, realised after I posted that's probably what you meant. Yeah, it's a standard term for having your cross fader reversed. You'll find in descriptions of mixers a bit that says "hamster switch" sometimes in place of the phrase "fader reverse".

How was this?? I tried to go but got there didnt get there till 12ish and the bouncers wudnt let no1 in, even if we had guest list!!?

the reason people use the hamster switch to reverse the cross fader is that when you are crabbing normal the fader will be open 3 times and closed 4. In hamster the reverse applies and you will get 4 open fader cuts. this gives a faster sound and generally makes the scratch sound better. It's hard to do which is why Burton is the King of Oxford scratch Dj's!!! No offence FU!!!
