INTERCOM REMIX COMPETITION
The first ever Intercom album, 'Lickable Beats' arrives early in October - we're offering the opportunity for you to remix 'Roadrunner' and see the very best effort released on the label.
In this extra special competition we're lining up alongside Intercom to offer the chance to see your remix of 'Roadrunner' [click to play] released on the label. The Sharon Brown touched, soul influenced number has already spawned a filtered bass and shuffling breaks version from the Rollers themselves, now wannabe producers have their time.
Follow the instructions below to get involved, we'll narrow the entries down to a final 20 to be voted down to 10 from which Intercom select to release the work of two talented individuals.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download the sample pack here: ZIP / RAR
(You will need either WinZip or WinRar)
2. Create your own remix of the track, using the samples provided. You may use your own sounds as well - providing they are copyright-free. However the main sound of the track must be made up of 'Roadrunner' samples. Make sure the track is complete before submission - please don't send in drafts or multiple versions. The last date for entries is Friday 24th October 2003 - any remixes received after this date will not be considered.
3. Submit your audio. It must be high-quality. Acceptable formats: Audio CDs, 196kbps compressed audio file on a data CD OR upload a 196kbps MP3 and send us the link to download.

Include your full name, DJ / producer name, contact telephone phone number, email address

DO NOT SEND AUDIO AS EMAIL ATTACHMENTS. ANYONE DOING SO WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED FROM THE COMPETITION.
4. The 20 best tunes (as selected by ourselves) will be made visible on the site and available for voting on Monday 3rd November . Voting will end on Monday 17th November . The top ten tunes as voted for will be forwarded to the EZ Rollers, who will then select the two winners. Winners will be notified by telephone or email and announced on the site.
RULES / INFO:
All tunes must be submitted by Friday 24th October 2003. No late entries will be accepted.
The best 20 entries will be displayed on Drum&BassArena, and users will vote on their preferred track (unique votes only). The 10 most popular entries will then be forwarded onto the EZ Rollers, who will choose the two winners.
Winners will be notified by either phone or email.
The two winners will be announced on Drum&BassArena, and will each win the prizes listed above.
All samples © Intercom Recordings - permission is granted for use ONLY in relation with this competition. They must not be sold or distributed. They must not be used outside this competition.
Disclaimer: The top prize is subject to change. If none of the tracks submitted meet the standards required by the label they MAY not warrant a release.
